If you’re ready to go fully electric, the 2025 Kia Niro EV is a smart way to make the switch. This compact SUV brings all-electric power, comfort, and practicality to your daily drives. Take a closer look at its performance and features.

Electric Range and Performance

2025 Kia Niro EV Charging

The Kia Niro EV’s powertrain features an electric motor that offers 253 miles of electric range. With 201 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque, the Niro EV cruises smoothly through city traffic and picks up speed fast enough for smooth highway driving. When connected to a DC fast charger, it takes about 43 minutes to charge the 64.8 kWh battery from 10% to 80%. You can also plug into a regular 120V outlet at home for overnight charging.

Interior Comfort and Features

The Niro EV has an upscale cabin with seating for five passengers. It offers 41.5 inches of front legroom, 36.9 inches of rear legroom, and standard amenities such as dual-zone automatic climate control, rear AC vents, heated front seats, and a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. You can also get available comfort upgrades like ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, a heated steering wheel, and a 10-way power passenger seat.

Combination seats come standard, and you can get the more premium perforated SynTex seating surfaces on the Wave trim. The available memory system offers two presets for the driver’s seat, which is great if more than one person uses the car. The Niro EV is also available with a power sunroof and fancier sport pedals. Both models come with USB ports in both rows, a power port, and ambient lighting.

Infotainment and Connectivity

Up front, you’ll find two 10.25-inch displays. One’s the instrument panel, and the other serves as the control center for all the vehicle settings and your entertainment needs. The base Wind model comes with a six-speaker audio system, but you can step up to the Wave trim for a Harman Kardon Premium system with eight speakers. You’ll have features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Bluetooth streaming to keep you connected.

Driver Assistance Tech

The Niro EV comes standard with a ton of driver assistance features. It features a forward collision-avoidance assist system, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic braking, and highway driving assist. Smart cruise control is also included to help you cruise stress-free on the highway and in stop-and-go traffic. With the available Remote Smart Parking Assist, you can remotely park or pull out of a tight spot while standing outside the car.
